Ed Gonzalez is a freelance writer working out of New York City, or thereabouts. A graduate of NYU, he worked for Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, and O Magazine before turning to film criticism. He is the film editor of Slant Magazine, which he co-founded in 2001. His writing has appeared in City Pages, The Los Angeles Times and The Village Voice.
