ABOUT JAMIE
Jamie S. Rich is a novelist and comic book writer whose first book, the coming-of-age punk rock novel Cut My Hair, was published in 2000. He has since published three more prose novels, the most recent of which is Have You Seen the Horizon Lately?, and several graphic novels. In the latter category, he is perhaps best known for his work with artist Joƫlle Jones, including the complicated romance tale 12 Reasons Why I Love Her and the hardboiled You Have Killed Me (both published by Oni Press). In early 2010, Rich and Jones teamed-up with artist Nicolas Hitori de to launch the rude comedy series Spell Checkers, about a trio of teenage witches. The sequel is due in 2011, and there is also a follow-up to You Have Killed Me on the way. Rich currently lives in Portland, OR, with his cat, Sadie, who was named for the Suede song, not the Beatles.
