Michael W. Phillips Jr. is the second most popular film critic named Michael Phillips in Chicago. He's been an internet reviewer for ten years, and has also written reviews for various newspapers that no longer exist. He's the program director of the Chicago International Movies & Music Festival, and he is the director of the Bank of America Cinema, a revival house hidden inside a bank building on Chicago's northwest side. He's married to a hotshot art historian and has three cats.
