"The Social Network"‽ Movies about the troubles of poor, little rich kids are just so boring. Whether it's Marie Antoinette or Mark Zuckerberg doesn't make much difference, except she had a fancier wardrobe.

These are the perils of any large organization making decisions of taste.

wowza Ken. I think your reading of The Social Network says more about you than the film itself.

I agree with your Colin Firth pick. Cant wait to see the move again.

Nice picks but I'm surprised that both of Edward Norton's performances were left out this year.

I agree with Ken, it's ridiculous how much attention rich white kids get, even from 'critics'. It's like the industry is owned by rich white men, and must therefore propagate some kind of hegemonic cultural bias which supports this system.

To everybody disowning The Social Newtwork because it about "rich white kids",
That does not make it a bad movie. Respectable acting, and a brilliant screenplay are what make a good movie, not your silly prejudices. You people sound very intelligent telling us that the Golden Globe winner was bad because its based on truth. GO spam on somebody else's website.
